![]() I’ve long been happy with the 12MP files coming out of my iPhone, and I know higher resolution sensors often have their trade-offs. When I learned about the increase in resolution of the iPhone 14 Pro sensor, I was cautiously excited. The iPhone 14 Pro introduces a massive resolution jump to 48MP, quadrupling the iPhone 13 Pro’s sensor. ![]() Again, really depends on your taste of the genre whether this bothers you or not.įor me, the first game will always win, though the second game is fantastic in its own right. The iPhone camera has touted a 12 megapixel camera for seven years, and the last time it saw an upgrade the jump was from 8MP to 12MP on the iPhone 6s. The second game feels a lot more like a parallel world where "mole people" and cognisant robots are an everyday occurrence. ![]() It feels more believable, and typically only towards the end of a run come the more unrealistic things, such as lizard people. Less animated, but it leaves more to the imagination and the landscapes are stunningly beautiful.Īnother highly subjective point is that the first game has expeditions of real people, albeit in rather unlikely scenarios. The art work is a very subjective feature, but I find the first one's, especially with one of the graphic mods, slightly better. The second game feels a lot racier, as your map get swallowed up from a fog over time, so you are encouraged to constantly move.įor me, I prefer the first game's approach, as it allows you to experiment more and should you lose (and yes, at the start that will happen) it is a lot easier to get back into it. Another big mechanical difference is that while the first game phrases the expeditions as a race, you actually have infinite time. ![]() In the second game it is a lot more piecemeal and you do invest more time into each run. In the first game each update to your character or crew members is big and noticeable. ![]()
